The Borderless Community of Zi Ni Twelve Portals is a housing project in Guangzhou, China, designed by Fei Architects to show off its occupants.Located in Zi Ni Tang Park, the renovation project, which has been shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2020, carved out wide windows and balconies with a variety of material finishes.

Architecture studio Adjaye Associates has revealed its design for Le Mémorial des Martyrs, which is set to be built in Niamey, Niger.

Pritzker Prize-winning architect Tadao Ando has completed a circular toilet in a Tokyo park as his contribution to the Tokyo Toilet project.Built in Jingu-Dori Park, the toilet was created as part of a scheme run by non-profit Nippon Foundation to upgrade public facilities in the city's downtown Shibuya district.The initiative has already seen by toilets built by Ando's fellow Japanese Pritzker Prize-winners Fumihiko Maki and Shigeru Ban.

Technology manufacturer Apple has revealed its spherical Apple Marina Bay Sands store in Singapore designed by architecture studio Foster + Partners, which it describes as its "most ambitious retail project".Built in Singapore's Marina Bay alongside the Moshe Safdie-designed Marina Bay Sands hotel, the Apple Store is completely surrounded by water.The transparent glass sphere designed by Foster + Partners has been revealed ahead of the store's opening tomorrow. Instagram users had previously posted images of the globe-shaped store wrapped in a grey covering.
